Talking2Minds Appeal 2012All volunteers at Talking2Minds work tirelessly to help as many as possible who are living with PTSD either on a personal basis or supporting a family member. Our aim is to open 4 treatment centres within the UK and to do this we need as as much funds as possible. at the moment T2M works solely on charitable donations and all the support you can offer is greatly appreciated. T2m are working in conjunction with Thursday film to promote the charity by creating an advert to be shown nationally…the more people we can inform about what we do the more people we can help its that simple! We really are appealing to all those who have had support from talking to minds in the past and all of those who would like to be involved in the future to get you thinking caps on and look at way in which you can help us raise the £40,000 needed to make the short film. All at Thursday film are contributing their time free of charge and the money raised is to pay for hire of equipment and locations. Currently we carry out our treatment programmes throughout the UK on a mobile basis. Our 4 year plan includes opening a total of 4 treatment centres, creating a network of support practitioners throughout the UK who can provide treatment for around 3000 sufferers of PTSD per annum. We opened our first center in Leigh Lancashire in October 2010. This serves as our first treatment center and our headquarters.
